Each year Adult Learners, Inc also sponsors one of the regional Scripps Spelling Bees in Indiana .
2022 Regional Scripps Spelling Bee
The annual Scripps Regional Spelling Bee will be held March 5, at PM at the Faith Christian School
5526 IN-26 bldg. 2, Lafayette, IN 47905
Students from 11 Counties will compete and the winner will go on to compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington DC, June 1-2, 2022
The 2021 Regional Spelling Bee champion was Shayari Shanti from West Lafayette. Shayari competed in the National Spelling Bee on June 12, 2021 virtually successfully completing 2 of the three rounds. Unfortunately, she did not qualify to move onto the next rounds but she did a wonderful job!
